Daniel R. Collins
Director
I'm an award-winning director, producer, and editor of documentary films. I believe in harnessesing the power of digital media to tell important stories and create social change. My work includes documentary filmmaking, independent video production, video editing, copy writing, and music production.

I studied film at the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College and cut my teeth as a reporter for the Gannett Company before moving on to serve as a producer, editor and writer for the independent film companies TELEDUCTION and Hearts and Minds Film from 2001-2015.
In 2010 I launched Dan Collins Media in order to pursue my passion of creating engaging documentary films that celebrate the arts, social justice, and the enduring human spirit.
